This has been a less than stelar week. Each day seemed to bring news of yet another family member being ill or ailing to various degrees though most serious. So I've mainly spent the week dealing with that. Just not a fun week.
But my puppies are well. Eros has received his pack cover and his beacon light. All he needs now is his bed which we have to wait till the first week of May for. So my sweet boy is completely set now. That at least is a great weight lifted off my shoulders, and this week I'll take any little positive I can get.
Since I don't want to feel like I'm letting the crap life can send my way get the better of me I'm still putting out this blog even if this will be a short one.
I've mentioned before that I would share Eros' diet. It's really pretty simple now that he's been to the vet. It will consist of Honest Kitchen and Carnibars. They are both high in calories and lightweight. I've fed both to him to see how he handled the food switch. He normally gets home-cooked food. But he handled the dehydrated foods fine. Though he does prefer the bars. I don't think he loves the gruel texture of the rehydrated Honest Kitchen.
But he's a sweet boy and trusts me to feed him good things.
I'm afraid that's everything I have for this week as far as preparations go.
I did get everything sorted out for my nephew to come along with us which is simply wonderful. Eros will now have 4 humans to watch over on this little journey of ours.
Till next week,
